MAY - Outing

Centre for birds of prey - Newent

11 members and spouses joined this outing, including Tony who had just returned from Perth, Australia.

Three types of birds were flown on the day: first a Falcon, followed by a Buzzard, and finally an Owl.

The eagle was on the "loose" which somehow didn't help the demo, nor did the strong winds, we were told. We never saw the Eagle..

Some of us thought the accustics werent' too good, and at times it was impossible to understand any of the commentary.
